Sultan Cares Health Screening: First 100 Residents Benefit as Next Exercise Is Announced

The Sultan Cares Foundation has commenced a community health initiative in Ashaiman, providing free medical screening, health education and support to residents as part of efforts to improve access to healthcare and encourage early detection of diseases.

The initiative began on Saturday, October 11, 2026, with the first 100 residents benefiting from the exercise in the Nii Annan Adjor Electoral Area.

According to a report by Kobby Kyei News, the programme focuses on non-communicable diseases, including hypertension, diabetes, obesity and kidney-related conditions. The foundation has set a target of reaching 700 beneficiaries through the wider initiative.

First 100 Residents Benefit From Free Screening

The first phase brought residents into contact with health professionals for medical checks, consultations and health education.

Reports on the exercise indicated that participants also received medication free of charge, providing additional support to beneficiaries who needed medical attention.

The initiative is designed to encourage residents to take their health seriously, particularly because some medical conditions can develop without obvious symptoms in their early stages.

By bringing screening services closer to the community, the programme seeks to create greater awareness of preventive healthcare and the importance of regular medical examinations.

Sultan Cares Announces Next Free Health Screening

Following the commencement of the initiative, a new event flyer from Sultan Cares has announced another free health-screening exercise for residents.

The upcoming event is scheduled for Saturday, November 7, 2026, at Ashaiman Mali Estate.

The exercise is expected to provide another opportunity for residents to participate in the foundation’s community health initiative.
