Mr Drew takes inspiration from real-life experiences for new song ‘Sneaky’

 

Multiple award-winning Ghanaian singer and dancer, Mr Drew, is out with his first single of the year, titled ‘Sneaky’. 

The track is a beautifully composed Afrobeats song with a blend of Amapiano.

In this song, Mr. Drew tells a story about a guy dating someone who is already in a relationship. But now, he wants to be more than just a secret fling and hopes he can be her main boyfriend soon.

Talking about the Sneaky, Mr Drew said that "the song is inspired by true life events. It’s a blend of experiences from my friends and myself."

“I once dated a lady thinking I was the main guy but I was rather her sneaky link. It got to a point where I wanted to upgrade from being a sneaky link to the main guy,” Mr Drew shared.

Is Akufo-Addo sacking Ofori-Atta through the Council of State?

 Blessed Godsbrain Smart, host of Onua TV/FM morning show has alleged President Akufo-Addo has delegated the Council of State to initiate the sacking of the Finance Minister.

He says the Council has been directed to invite the Governor of Bank of Ghana (BoG), Dr. Ernest Addison and the Finance Minister, Kenneth Nana Yaw Ofori-Atta, to explain to them why the cedi is performing abysmally against other foreign currencies, especially the US dollar.

During his rants Wednesday, August 24, 2022, Captain Smart averred Dr. Addison pumps about $27 million daily into the economy to curb the free fall of the cedi to the dollar but to no avail.

He says the plan is for the Council to ask the minister to step aside since the financial outlook of the economy is the worst Ghana has had in the Fourth Republic after the meeting.

Captain Smart has added the President has taken this approach because he can’t sack the minister, who is his cousin, by himself.

Woman drags her sisters-in-law for not helping her with domestic chores in her matrimonial home

 

A Nigerian woman has called out her sisters-in-law for failing to help her with domestic chores.

 

The woman who sounded very frustrated said since she got married to their brother, the sisters want to kill her with work. She said all that the sisters who live with her and her husband do is press their phones and eat

The sisters-in-law were unremorseful as they challenged her for filming them.

Ghana Highways Authority fixes bridges on Accra-Tema motorway

 The Ghana Highways Authority started work on Monday to repair defective bridges on the Accra-Tema highway.

In the process, many motorists have had to endure heavy vehicular traffic on the route.

Some drivers in an interview with JoyNews‘ Samuel Mbura said the situation will have dire consequence on their activities.

Because of the road that they are doing over there, so there’s huge traffic on both sides,” one driver said.

Another motorist stated that “I have been in traffic for over one and half hours and it’s really bad.

Speaking to JoyNews, Director of Operations of the Ghana Police Service, ACP Henry Otoo said adequate security measures have been put in place to avert any criminal activities as a result of the heavy traffic.

“We are going to be here 24/7, there wouldn’t be any break to make sure first, we manage the free flow of traffic and to ensure there is adequate security around so criminals cannot disturb motorists,” he said.

Meanwhile, Supervising Engineer at the rehabilitation site, Aaron Nana Amponsah has assured that the work on the Accra-Tema motorway will be completed in a week’s time.

“We have about 30 men who are going to run a 30-day shift from morning to 5.00pm. 30 people will be on duty… by next week, the road will be opened to traffic.”

He added that at around 4.00pm, a tower light will be mounted to provide light for works to continue

DJs are losing their power to social media platforms – DJ Vyrusky

 

Four-time ‘Best DJ of the Year’ at the Ghana DJ Awards, DJ Vyrusky, believes Disc Jockeys are losing their power as key promoters of music.

According to the DJ who doubles as a music producer, social media platforms such as Tik Tok seem to be limiting the dominance of DJs currently.

In an interview on Guide Radio on Tuesday, DJ Vyrusky, said that DJs no longer have the exclusive privilege of ‘breaking’ or introducing new music to audience.

He explained that artistes these days give their songs to social media influencers to grow popularity online even before considering DJs.

DJ Vyrusky added that DJs are then forced to play these trending songs to satisfy the audience.

“People go through TikTok. If you go out, every DJ wants to play the hit songs….When you go to a party and you’re playing songs, the audience go like, ‘play the songs trending now’. The club owner will be like ‘look sharp, people are leaving,” he said.

The ‘Change Your Style’ composer wants DJs to take back the power of introducing or ‘breaking’ songs.

He mentioned that whenever DJs introduce new songs at events, the audience respond negatively and request for songs that are popular on platforms like TikTok and Instagram.

“I was like let me club-hop for the night and it was the same songs I heard from every place I went. When a DJ tries to play something new, they feel he/she is not good,” he lamented.

DJ Vyrusky is pleading with the public to allow DJs inject some variation in music rotation at events.

A Young street guy  took his lady out on  trip so He could surprise her with a promise ring but ended up getting missing in a bush as they try to find their way back , They experienced different kind of  trouble and scary stuff in the bush which was shot and directed by Roeh Putty whho casted Allo Tawa , Portia Ghali, Local Moral, Kardel Vybzz,  Groowii withh an Extra Temple . 

The Movie is believed to awaken and headline Ashaiman  Movie Industry and also promote its name. Unavailing and making people understand and see the real talent Ashaiman has in different ways.

Imagine a platform with the Vision of scouting talent from the street and giving them the ability to showcase their God giving talent and giving them a reason to stay alive , give them Hope and reason to be their own CEOs.
