The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) is set to recover GH¢125 million from Strategic Mobilisation Ghana Limited (SML) due to unjust enrichment through overpayment. The OSP investigation found that SML lacked the technical capacity and expertise to provide the required services, and the contract was awarded without proper justification, violating procurement protocols.
The OSP will also charge former government officials, including Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta, with corruption and related offenses. The charges are expected to be filed by the end of November 2025.
